Program Facilitator Job Description

 

Powerhouse Ministries is seeking Program Facilitators to work with residents in the Powerhouse Transition Center. The Powerhouse Transition Center provides shelter and case management for the at-risk and homeless who want to change their lives.

Responsibilities

·        Uphold grace-filled, high accountability environment in interactions with residents and volunteers

·        Ensure the safety and security of the center, residents, and volunteers

·        Adhere to Powerhouse Transition Center policies and schedules

·        Complete reports and records as required

·        Provide transportation for Center activities as necessary

·        Participate in staff meetings and training

Qualifications

·        Experience working with the homeless or at-risk population

·        Crisis management, decision-making, and organizational skills

·        A valid driver’s license is required; willingness to obtain Class B license

·        Sensitivity and knowledge of homeless issues and community help agencies

·        Willingness to be vulnerable and accountable for your actions and behaviors

·        Active commitment to your home church

·        A professed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as personal savior and commitment to serve Him

·        Agree with the “Statement of Faith” for Powerhouse Ministries

·        Good interpersonal skills with willingness to work as part of team

·        Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer

Shifts Available

·        Monday – Friday, 5pm-10pm

·        Monday – Sunday, 2pm-10pm

·        Saturday – Sunday, 6am – 2pm

Salary

·        $10-12/hour, depending on shift and experience
